Operations Coordinator
Star South is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Exotics Team during the Fig season. The candidate will be based in the Kammanassie Area (close to Uniondale) for three months, to ensure the packing and transportation of products is efficiently executed in the area.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric
- Relevant experience and/ or related studies will strengthen application
Requirements
- Computer skills a necessity, especially Microsoft Excel
- Valid Driver’s licences
- Must be able to speak fluently in Afrikaans

Job Description
- Receive pallets from various producers
- Conduct intake product and ensure aligned with delivery note
- Check quality of products received according to market requirements
- Daily quality control during packing at all packhouses
- Manage packing material and labels
- Build-up of pallets according to the packing specifications
- Complete required documents and share with teams
- Ensure trucks are loaded correctly
- Communicate effectively with team members
Remuneration
Market related, depending on experience and knowledge. Accommodation and transportation are provided.
