Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge

• Completed articles at a registered auditing firm or a minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
• Understanding of the fruit industry would strengthen your application
• Computer skills and extensive experience in Excel
• Cost accounting & standard cost principles are essential
• Forex handling

Job Description

• Manage full creditors process on producers
  • Capturing of produce and related cost elements & related adjustments
  • Weekly preparation of payments to producers
  • Sending of payment remittances to producers
  • Reporting on producer payment summaries
  • Managing ledgers for any deductions on producer payments
• Cash flow management
• Monthly updating of standard costs
• Invoicing of costs back to producers
• Management of balance sheet items relating to control accounts on standard cost
• Various reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Onboarding of new customers and producers
• Processing of commercial invoices and credit notes
• Preparation of weekly and monthly commercial creditor payments
• Monthly report on commercial creditors
• Any other relevant accounting functions as required
