What does Star South do?
Based in Wellington, South Africa, Star South serves four key groups across the diverse sector of fresh produce: fruit producers and retailers, both within South Africa and abroad. Besides becoming South Africa’s largest importer of table grapes, stonefruit and kiwis, we’ve expanded our portfolio to include
citrus, pomegranates, apples, pears, figs, and dates – sourced and sold across the globe.
How does the learnership work?
- Learners will rotate through various divisions of the business, learning and experiencing a variety of jobs, to find where their passion lies
- During the 12-months learners will be required to study Supply Chain
What are the candidate requirements?
- National Senior Certificate
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Must have reliable transport
